RETURNS
At Malachi’s Delights Corporation, we take pride in the quality of every product we deliver. Because we handle fresh, made-to-order food items, our return and refund policy is designed to be fair while reflecting the nature of our products.
Our policy is valid within 7 days of delivery or pick-up. Given that our products are freshly prepared food items, concerns must be raised promptly so we can address them effectively. If 7 days have passed since you received your order, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund, replacement, or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or replacement, the item must meet the following conditions:
The item was received in a condition significantly different from what was ordered (wrong item, wrong quantity, or incorrect preparation);
The item was delivered in a damaged, spoiled, or otherwise unacceptable state due to an error on our part;
The concern is raised within 7 days of receiving the order, with photo or video evidence where applicable.
Please note that as a food business, we are unable to accept physical returns of consumed or partially consumed items. All concerns are assessed on a case-by-case basis in the spirit of fairness and customer satisfaction.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Due to the nature of our products and food safety standards, the following are not eligible for return or refund:
Food items that have already been consumed, partially consumed, or removed from their original packaging without a valid concern being raised;
Orders where the customer changed their mind after the item was prepared or delivered;
Gift cards, vouchers, or promotional credits;
Items that were personally picked up and accepted at the point of collection without any noted concern;
Orders affected by incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
To complete your request for a refund or replacement, we require your order confirmation, proof of purchase, and photo or video documentation of the concern.
PARTIAL REFUNDS
There are certain situations where only partial refunds or partial replacements may be granted, subject to assessment by our team:
Orders where only a portion of the items received were affected by the reported concern;
Orders where the concern is raised afte 7 days, and is accompanied by clear supporting evidence;
Any other situation determined to merit a partial resolution at the sole discretion of Malachi’s Delights Corporation.
REFUNDS
Once your concern has been received and assessed by our team, we will contact you to notify you of the outcome of your refund request.
If your request is approved, your refund will be processed within 3 to 7 business days, depending on the method of payment:
Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Refunds will be issued via GCash, Maya, or bank transfer to your preferred account.
Online payment orders (GCash, Maya, credit/debit card): Refunds will be returned to the original payment method used. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Orders paid via third-party platforms (e.g., GrabFood, Foodpanda, Shopee Food): Refunds must be processed through the respective platform’s dispute and refund process. We will cooperate fully with any platform investigation.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe, we recommend taking the following steps:
First, check your bank account, e-wallet, or payment app to confirm whether the refund has been posted;
Contact your bank or payment provider, as there may be processing time on their end before the refund reflects on your account;
If you have taken the above steps and still have not received your refund, please reach out to us directly through our official contact channels.
We are committed to resolving all refund concerns promptly and professionally.
SALE ITEMS & PROMOTIONAL ORDERS
Items purchased during promotional periods, flash sales, or at a discounted rate are generally not eligible for a refund, unless the concern involves a product error or quality issue on our part.
We appreciate your understanding that promotions are offered in good faith, and that pricing adjustments cannot be applied retroactively after an order has been fulfilled.
EXCHANGES & REPLACEMENTS
We are happy to arrange a replacement for orders where a verified quality or fulfillment issue has occurred. Replacements are subject to product availability and are processed based on our assessment of the concern raised.
To request a replacement, please contact us after receiving your order with the following:
Your name and order reference number;
A clear description of the concern;
Photo or video evidence of the item as received.
Replacement requests are processed within 1 to 2 business days, and the replacement item will be dispatched at no additional cost to you if the concern is verified.
GIFT ORDERS
If an item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and delivered directly to the recipient, any eligible refund or replacement credit will be issued to the recipient, provided the concern is raised within 24 hours.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or if the order was placed and received by the original buyer before being given as a gift, any eligible refund will be returned to the original purchaser.
DELIVERY & RETURN LOGISTICS
As a food brand operating primarily through delivery channels, Malachi’s Delights Corporation does not require the physical return of food items for most refund or replacement requests.
Concerns are assessed based on the documentation provided.
However, for non-food items such as branded merchandise or packaging errors involving sealed goods, the following applies:
You will be responsible for the cost of return delivery unless the return is due to a verified error on our part;
We recommend using a trackable courier service for any physical returns, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returned items;
Original delivery fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the error is solely on our part.
For delivery-related concerns such as late or incorrect orders facilitated through third-party platforms, please also raise a dispute through the respective platform for faster resolution.
